permanent mount solar charge controller These units charge and cut off at 14.8 volts and they do not float, so they must be for 12v Lithium Ion Batteries, most likely something in the Bren-Tronics or Ultralife line. I have taken one apart as seen in the photos and the board has a 2006 date on it. You can look up on the internet and find that the company uses a patented PVPC low light charge process which uses a form of mppt in its process. The company that sells these is Xslent and mainly deals in Military and Aero space products. This unit will handle up to 200 watts of 12v solar panels. It uses a Hammond 1590D enclosure. I would guess they are for an Aero space application as they have Amphenol 206036-2 3p connectors but only use two wire positions. You will have to supply your own connectors but I will mark the positive and negative for you. Every unit will be tested before shipping. I am selling the first units cheap just to get some feedback on these units. Check the price on the Hammond box and you will see this is a good deal.You are buying one unit at a time. l would also sell just the board only for the project minded. No Returns at this price but we will fully test before shipping. Great for the DIYer.
