This is our 90 watt kit which includes TWO of the 45 watt 33.3 volt each MADE IN the USA Ascent Flexible
Solar Panels. These are NOS (new old stock) with some cosmetic
blemishes, meaning a scuff or wrinkle here and there but nothing that
would affect its use and most would never see. Ascent is well known for building military spec solar products. Plus you get a Plug and play harness with parallel wired splitter to allow this kit to work with your Torqeedo 29.6 volt electric outboard. These panels have nothing on the back so you are not confined to a glue down only install. Velcro, glue on grommets, butyl tape or waterproof and Neoprene are just a few of the optional ways these panels could be attached or used.
These NOS panels have a 2009 date but that is when
the cells were built and the panels were assembled in 2017 and
have not been exposed to light until then. We put this kit together because the panel output is perfect for the Torqeedo's Lithium battery and work great in a marine environment.
The panels are Made in
USA these are CIGS (copper, indium, gallium, selenium)
on a polyamide substrate and covered with ETFE 280.
And unlike most CIGS they are NOT GREEN but rather a good looking mixed
shade of dark gray, so they look nice where ever you mount them unlike
the Green Cigs.
The solar panel plugs have been converted to weather proof 2 conductor type connectors. These are ready to plug and play with your 29.6v Torqeedo Travel battery.
